Kitchen Assistant Manager

Draft and Company is a new bar and restaurant in downtown Milwaukee. We are searching for a Kitchen Assistant Manager to join the culinary team. We are a fast paced kitchen, with a concise menu focusing on fast, efficient service, and high quality smash burgers.

Kitchen Assistant Manager is a full time position. Duties include effectively operating all positions on the line, which include grill, fry, and expediting. The Kitchen Assistant Manager will be able to prepare and serve all menu items to the standard set by the Executive Chef, as well as assisting in managing other kitchen employees to make sure standards are maintained during all hours of operation. Other duties include prep work for sauces and burger toppings, general kitchen cleaning and upkeep, and assisting in organizing and maintaining product inventories.

We are looking for a candidate who can work well in a high-volume environment, who can collaborate with the head chef and other cooks. Previous cooking experience is required. A food handler’s certification or a certified food protection manager license is preferred but not required. (Willingness to become certified is encouraged.)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
