Kitchen Assistant - Part Time

We’re opening Cantor Milanesas, a brand-new independent Argentinian restaurant in Brighton from the team behind Baqueano Steakhouse and Malo Empanadas. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to join our Kitchen team from the very beginning.

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be an important part of our kitchen team, supporting the chefs and helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly during service.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Assisting chefs with basic food preparation

● Preparing vegetables, salads, sauces and other ingredients

● Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised throughout service

● Helping with deliveries and stock organisation

● Ensuring food preparation areas meet our high hygiene standards

● Supporting the chefs wherever needed during busy services

● Following food safety, health & safety and hygiene procedures

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

● Reliable, punctual and hardworking

● Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment

● Clean and organised

● A good team player with a positive attitude

● Able to work efficiently under pressure

● Passionate about food and hospitality

● Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities

Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but we’re happy to consider someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
