Duties

• Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and prevent contamination at all times
• Support meal assembly and portioning to ensure consistent presentation and quality
• Help manage inventory by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or expired items
• Serve meals efficiently to guests or staff, ensuring prompt and friendly service
• Collaborate with team members to uphold a smooth kitchen workflow during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, utensils, and basic culinary techniques
• Good organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Prior experience in meal preparation, serving, or related roles is highly desirable

Pay: £12.71-£18.98 per hour
