Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join us . In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.

We make all our sandwiches/toasties to order, speed is of the essence!

Basic food hygiene certificate along with Allergen awareness is a necessity.

Flexability between evenings and daytime shifts. open weekends.

This is an all year round position so it wouldn't suit a student that goes home out of term time sorry!

Experience in a busy kitchen of approx 1 year would help.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Cook a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality in every plate served
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils, adhering to strict food safety protocols
• Support meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
• Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experi

Pay: £12.71 per hour
