Duties

• Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Cook a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality are maintained at all times
• Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Support the team in meal assembly and plating to meet service deadlines
• Maintain organized storage of ingredients and supplies, rotating stock as needed
• Assist with cleaning duties including washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and disposing of waste properly
• Serve food to guests or staff in accordance with health regulations and customer service standards

Experience

• Previous kitchen experience or culinary training preferred willingness to learn is essential
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
• Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and learning

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
