Kitchen Assistant/Delivery Driver

We are a friendly, fast-growing independent food business looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a small kitchen, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and front-of-house. Duties will vary and may include:

• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of pizzas, pastas, calzones and sides
• Taking customer orders (in person and/or over the phone)
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Cleaning dishes, kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean work area
• Supporting with general kitchen tasks as required
• Delivering food when needed (using your own vehicle)

Requirements

• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
• Experience in meal preparation, food preparation, or kitchen work is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
• A friendly demeanour with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
