Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including counters, appliances, utensils, and storage spaces
• Support food safety protocols by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Help with general housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms to ensure a spotless environment
• Organise supplies and ingredients efficiently to facilitate smooth kitchen operations
• Serve meals in a courteous and professional manner

• Experience in catering or restaurant environments demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and service
• Proven kitchen experience with understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving supplies efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail in cleaning routines and food presentation
• Good communication skills for working collaboratively within a team environment

Pay: £12.71 per hour
