Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join our team at The New Conservatory, an independent bar and restaurant in Leeds city centre.

You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly, supporting our chefs during busy services.

Your duties will include:

• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping kitchen surfaces, floors and storage areas clean.
• Helping with basic food preparation as directed by the chefs.
• Putting deliveries away and keeping stock organised.
• Emptying bins and managing kitchen waste.
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is dependable, punctual and willing to get stuck in.
• Works well as part of a team and takes pride in their work.
• Can keep up with a busy service and follow instructions.
• Is available to work evenings and weekends.
• Has previous kitchen experience / a willingness to learn, with training provided.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
