About Us

The Fairway Club is Brownwood’s indoor golf and entertainment destination. We bring together golf simulators, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We’re looking for a dependable Kitchen Attendant who takes pride in preparing food, keeping the kitchen clean, and helping the team work smoothly during busy shifts.

Position Summary

The Kitchen Attendant supports the daily food operation at The Fairway Club. This role prepares and assembles menu items, checks orders for accuracy, keeps kitchen supplies stocked, and follows food safety and cleanliness standards.

You should be comfortable staying busy, following recipes and instructions, and working as part of a team. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation and Orders

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and kitchen procedures.
• Use kitchen equipment, including the griddle and fryers, safely and properly.
• Follow recipe instructions, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Check completed orders for accuracy, including sides, sauces, and requested modifications.
• Package and stage orders for pickup by the service team.
• Communicate with the team when orders are ready or when an item is delayed.
• Keep food, ingredients, and prepared items stored and labeled properly.

Kitchen Cleanliness and Food Safety

• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize food-preparation surfaces throughout the shift.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Follow proper handwashing, glove-use, and food-handling practices.
• Keep coolers, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized.
• Take out kitchen trash and recycling as needed.
• Follow The Fairway Club’s food safety procedures and opening and closing checklists.

Stocking and Team Support

• Restock ingredients, paper goods, containers, and other kitchen supplies.
• Let a manager know when ingredients or supplies are running low.
• Help receive and put away deliveries.
• Work with the team to keep orders moving during busy periods.
• Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed.

These duties are based on The Fairway Club’s kitchen procedures and may vary depending on the shift and business needs.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Organized and attentive to order details.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
