Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices, along with experience in meal preparation and menu planning. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our clients while ensuring a positive dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Plan menus that cater to various dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Manage food inventory, including ordering and storing supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to create nutritious meal options.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist in catering events as required, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
• Provide support to dietary aides and other kitchen staff as necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Experience with menu planning and meal preparation techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
