Responsibilities

• Follow established recipes and food safety guidelines to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met
• Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for efficient meal assembly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Serve meals efficiently while ensuring presentation meets quality standards

Experience

• Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of ingredients is essential
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, utensils, and basic culinary techniques
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and front-of-house staff
• Previous experience in meal preparation, serving, or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
