Kitchen Cook/Line Prep

Mi Rincón Puerto Rican Restaurant is hiring a Kitchen Cook / Line Prep team member.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes, safety and portion standards, and help maintain the quality and consistency of our Puerto Rican cuisine.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep
• Cook and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Work efficiently on the line during busy service periods
• Maintain proper food temperatures, portions, and presentation
• Keep prep areas, cooking stations, and equipment clean and organized
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
• Restock the line and communicate prep needs
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
• Work as a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time

What we're looking for: Dependability, punctuality, good communication, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a positive team attitude. Previous restaurant kitchen or line-cook experience is preferred, but not required.

Pay based on experience

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
