POSITION: KITCHEN STAFF

As a Kitchen Staff, you will support the kitchen team in food preparation, cooking, cleanliness, and proper execution of Makimura's food and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food according to Makimura standards and recipes
• Prepare ingredients and ensure proper portioning before service
• Ensure food is properly cooked, presented, and served according to standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas
• Properly wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen tools and equipment
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing ingredients and supplies
• Follow proper FIFO/FEFO and food handling procedures
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients
• Minimize food waste and properly handle unused ingredients
• Support the Kitchen Team Leader in ensuring smooth kitchen operations
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and grooming at all times
• Assist other kitchen team members whenever necessary
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Kitchen Team Leader or Store Manager

QUALIFICATIONS
✔Previous kitchen/food service experience is an advantage
✔Willing to learn food preparation and Japanese restaurant operations
✔Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
✔Hardworking, disciplined, and responsible
✔Team player with a positive attitude
✔Customer-service oriented
✔Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
✔Willing to be assigned to any Makimura branch as needed

Pay: Php15,600.00 - Php16,100.00 per month
