Kitchen Crew

• Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes, portion sizes, preparation methods, and quality standards.
• Assist with daily food preparation, including washing, cutting, marinating, portioning, and arranging ingredients.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served consistently in terms of taste, quality, portion, and presentation.
• Follow kitchen SOPs, food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and proper food handling practices at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cooking stations, equipment, utensils, storage areas, and workstations.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including preparation, cleaning, restocking, and basic kitchen setup.
• Monitor ingredient and stock levels and assist with receiving, checking, storing, and replenishing kitchen supplies.
• Ensure ingredients are properly labelled, stored, and rotated according to FIFO practices to maintain freshness and reduce wastage.
• Operate and handle kitchen equipment safely and correctly according to company guidelines.
• Work closely with the kitchen and outlet team to ensure food orders are prepared accurately and served within the required time.
• Maintain proper portion control and minimize food wastage during daily kitchen operations.
• Assist with inventory checks and report any low-stock, damaged, expired, or unsuitable ingredients to the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment throughout the shift.
• Assist with customer feedback related to food quality when required and report any issues to the Outlet Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, café, food service, or F&B environment is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and candidates without prior kitchen experience are welcome to apply, with training provided.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene is an advantage.
• Able to follow recipes, portion guidelines, SOPs, and instructions accurately.
• Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good personal hygiene and a strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen duties.
• Able to handle kitchen equipment and work safely in a busy kitchen environment.
• Basic communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Own transport is an advantage, depending on outlet location and shift requirements.
