Kitchen Crew

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Kitchen Crew member to join our team at Sundaydo Café!

If you enjoy working in a kitchen, have a passion for food preparation, we would love to hear from you.

You will be involved in the daily kitchen operations, from preparing ingredients and cooking to maintaining cleanliness and ensuring food is served according to our standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and carry out daily mise en place before and during operations.

• Cook and prepare menu items such as snacks, fries, Indomie, Pad Kra Pao, pasta, chicken chop, and other café dishes.

• Ensure food is prepared consistently according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.

• Handle food preparation, basic cooking, plating, and food presentation.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen, including kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.

• Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with stock replenishment when needed.

• Ensure proper food storage and follow food safety and hygiene practices.

• Assist with daily kitchen operations, including opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage.

• Fresh culinary candidates who are willing to learn are welcome to apply.

• Able to perform basic cooking and food preparation tasks.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

• Responsible, punctual, clean, and organised.

• Willing to work rotational shifts, including evening and late-night shifts.

Working Hours

• This position operates on a rotational shift basis:

• Shift 1: 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM

• Shift 2: 5:30 PM – 1:00 AM

• Candidates must be comfortable working both shifts according to the work schedule.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
