Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and responsible Kitchen Crew to join our pioneer team at Hooya Kopitiam, Eco Grandeur. The main responsibility is to ensure smooth food preparation and maintain a clean, organized kitchen space.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cooking ingredients: Chop vegetables, cut meat, and prepare basic ingredients for the kopitiam menu.
• Cook and prepare dishes: Follow standard recipe guidelines and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Maintain cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen area, cooking utensils, and storage rooms are always clean, tidy, and food safety standards are met.
• Inventory management: Manage and check raw kitchen stock to ensure adequate supply at all times.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure dishes are served quickly and accurately to customers.

Requirements

• Malaysian citizens only.
• Possess honest, hardworking, and punctual personality.
• Able to work in a team and under minimal supervision.
• Experience working in a restaurant or kopitiam is an advantage (training will be provided for those without experience).
• Willing to work according to the designated operating hours.
• Valid Typhoid vaccination & Food Handling is better.

Working Hours

• Time: 9:30 AM – 9:30 PM
• Overtime (OT): Fully paid in accordance with the Malaysian Employment Act / Labor Law!
