Kitchen Crew / Staff

The Kitchen Crew / Staff (for the upcoming Binalot & Kurimi fast food restaurant in Tutuban, Manila) is responsible for preparing and cooking food products according to Binalot standards, maintaining food quality and safety, ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen area, and supporting efficient store operations to provide customers with a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation and Production

• Prepare ingredients, food items, and meals according to standard recipes and procedures.
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are consistently met.
• Cook and assemble menu items accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor food freshness and proper stock rotation (FIFO method).
• Ensure timely preparation of food during peak operating hours.

Kitchen Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Properly store ingredients and supplies following food safety standards.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Store Manager.
• Minimize food wastage and observe proper handling of ingredients.

Food Safety and Compliance

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Ensure proper temperature control and safe food handling practices.
• Wear complete prescribed uniform and maintain personal cleanliness.
• Comply with company policies, operational procedures, and health standards.

Team Support

• Coordinate with Cashiers and Service Crew to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Assist in kitchen opening and closing procedures.
• Support other operational tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with team members.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

I. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

All applicants seeking employment must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• At least eighteen (18) years old. No maximum age limit, as long as physically fit to perform job duties
• With good communication skills in Filipino; basic English is an advantage
• Must possess a pleasing personality and strong customer service orientation
• Honest, reliable, and with good moral character
• With good memory and attention to detail, especially in handling orders and instructions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
• Maintains proper hygiene and professional appearance at all times
• With basic mathematical skills for order handling and transactions
• Experience in the food service or retail industry is an advantage but not required
• Shows enthusiasm for Filipino food preparation and commitment to delivering quality food service
• Capable of multi-tasking and supporting different store functions to ensure smooth daily operations

II. SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS OF KITCHEN CREW / STAFF

• At least High School Graduate / Senior High School Graduate
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is an advantage
• Willing to undergo training in standard food preparation procedures
• Knowledge of basic food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Ability to follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
• Can work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
• Demonstrates teamwork, discipline, and consistency
• With interest or passion in cooking and food service

Pay: Php695.00 per day
