Kitchen Designer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Kitchen Designer who is competent in BIM/Revit to join a design-led studio. Specializing in premium, high-end residential projects and architectural new builds, our team delivers considered, bespoke interior solutions with a focus on exceptional craftsmanship and a personalized client experience. In this role, you will take full ownership of projects from initial lifestyle consultation through to Revit modeling, production coordination, and final installation, working closely with clients, builders, architects, and interior teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Meeting with clients to understand their lifestyle, spatial requirements, aesthetic preferences, and project budgets
• Developing creative, functional, and highly considered kitchen designs and 3D models using BIM/Revit
• Preparing comprehensive 3D models, detailed joinery drawings, production-ready documentation, and accurate quotations
• Selecting and specifying premium materials, hardware, appliances, and bespoke finishes
• Conducting precise site measure-ups and final installation checks across Auckland-based projects
• Building strong client relationships and guiding them seamlessly through the design, ordering, and installation stages
• Coordinating with builders, architects, interior designers, and trade installers to ensure flawless site delivery

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of proven experience in kitchen design, ideally within the high-end or architectural residential market
• Strong proficiency and hands-on competence in BIM / Revit software for spatial modeling and detailed joinery documentation
• Solid technical understanding of kitchen construction, hardware integration, and spatial ergonomics
• Strong eye for proportion, materials, color palettes, and contemporary design trends
• Confident communication, presentation, and sales skills with a commercial mindset
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong project management abilities
• Full Class 1 Driver’s License and reliable transport for site visits across Auckland
