We are seeking a Kitchen Designer to join our Piscataway, NJ showroom. This role combines kitchen design, sales, and project coordination, helping customers bring their vision to life while managing projects from initial consultation through ordering and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with homeowners, contractors, and interior designers to understand their project goals, style preferences, and budgets.
• Provide showroom tours and guide customers through cabinetry, countertop, hardware, sink, and faucet selections.
• Measure spaces and develop functional kitchen layouts, drawings, and design presentations.
• Prepare accurate proposals, pricing, and product specifications.
• Manage projects from start to finish, including consultation, measuring, designing, selling, ordering, and delivery coordination.
• Review dimensions, specifications, and order details to ensure accuracy before placing orders.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams regarding product availability, lead times, and project requirements.
• Build customer relationships, follow up on proposals, and meet agreed-upon sales targets.
• Address customer questions and resolve order or project issues promptly.
• Stay current on kitchen design trends, cabinetry offerings, and new products.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen design and cabinetry sales experience.
• Proficiency with kitchen design software, such as 2020 Design or a comparable program.
• Understanding of kitchen layouts, cabinetry specifications, measurements, and space planning.
• Strong sales focus with the ability to guide customers from initial consultation to purchase.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Ability to learn computer systems and product offerings quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
