As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated Kitchen Design & Sales Consultant to join our friendly team at our new office and factory in Youngtown, Launceston.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining creative kitchen design, customer relationships and sales with the technical side of bringing a project to life.

The Opportunity

Working across residential and commercial projects throughout the north and north-east of Tasmania, you’ll work closely with our clients, production team and installers from the initial concept through to production.

Your role will include

-          Meeting with clients onsite and in our showroom to understand their needs and ideas

-          Designing kitchens and joinery solutions that are both beautiful and practical

-          Interpreting architectural and construction plans, client sketches and project requirements

-          Preparing accurate plans, designs and quotations

-          Producing detailed shop drawings and production documentation

-          Preparing cutting lists, CNC files and installation drawings

-          Liaising with clients, tradespeople, installers and our production team to ensure projects run smoothly

About You

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with people as much as they enjoy design. You’ll ideally have experience in one or more of the following:

-          Kitchen or cabinetry design

-          CAD design software — CabMaster experience is an advantage

-          Preparing plans and quotations

-          Shop and production drawings

-          Cutting lists, CNC files and installation drawings

You’ll also bring

-          Sound knowledge of kitchen cabinetry, hardware and decorative finishes

-          The ability to read and interpret construction and architectural plans

-          Strong attention to detail and accuracy

-          Excellent communication and customer service skills

-          A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to contribute to a team

-          A current driver's licence

-          A White Card (Construction Induction)

Salary package is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
