Tattersall's Club has been one of Brisbane's premier private Clubs for generations. Founded on a proud heritage of horse racing tradition, the Club has grown into a vibrant social environment where over 5,000 Members come together to connect, dine and enjoy memorable experiences.

2026 is an exciting year for us as we celebrate 100 years of our iconic, heritage-listed Members' Bar, and our Club boasts first class facilities including a Dining Room, a Function Centre catering for up to 300 guests, accommodation rooms, a fully equipped Health and Wellness Centre with a 25 metre indoor heated swimming pool, as well as a Business Centre and workspaces.

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team on a casual or part time basis. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a high quality, well-respected kitchen environment.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen team with prep tasks including washing, peeling, cutting and portioning
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, equipment and storage areas
• Wash dishes, cookware and utensils efficiently to keep up with service flow
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly
• Support food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Take direction from chefs and senior kitchen staff and pitch in where needed
• Help with end of service pack down and cleaning

Key Capabilities

• Previous kitchen hand or food service experience preferred but not essential
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work at pace during busy service periods
• Reliable, punctual and a team player
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices (or willingness to obtain)
