Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold health and safety standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during cleaning processes
• Support the setup and breakdown of dining areas during service hours when needed
• Follow all safety protocols and hygiene regulations consistently to prevent contamination or accidents
• Contribute positively to team efforts by staying organized, proactive, and attentive to detail

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling and food preparation practices
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
• Prior hotel or food service experience is a plus but not mandatory
