Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently during banquets and events, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
• Set up banquet spaces according to event specifications, including arranging tables, linens, and utensils.
• Provide friendly guest service by answering questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest comfort.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to maintain hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of events from setup through cleanup.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with serving and kitchen support.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on guest relations and teamwork.
• Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus; familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to assisting team members and guests alike.
• Basic understanding of food service operations, including bussing, serving, and food preparation tasks.
