Duties

• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
• Help with cooking duties under supervision, ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
• Support food handling procedures by following proper hygiene practices and storage protocols
• Serve meals to guests or staff in a timely and courteous manner during service hours
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen staff
