Duties

• Baking premade macaroni and cheese using very precise directions
• Packaging containers and placing in the cooler
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and dishwashers
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, equipment, and ensuring compliance with food safety management practices
• Follow strict food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met during all stages of production
• Attend some food pop events (optional)

Skills

• Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
• Ability to focus and follow directions
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in a busy kitchen environment

This is more of a gig than a job. You will be assisting the owner/maker of MacAttack homemade macaroni and cheese. We are usually in the kitchen once per week or more than once if there's an event. You must be able to work alone until the head chef arrives. Flexibility is a plus, as the day we work may fluctuate throughout the week but will be communicated in advance. This is a fun opportunity for someone who is already in the culinary field or maybe is just a Mac and Cheese Enthusiast. Food truck season is busier and attending those events are optional. Social media experience is a plus but not necessary.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
