Kitchen Help

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Kitchen Help team member to assist with the daily production of cannabis-infused gummies in a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing facility. This position supports the kitchen and production team with ingredient preparation, equipment setup, cleaning and sanitizing, packaging assistance, and general production duties.

The ideal candidate is reliable, follows instructions carefully, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience in a commercial kitchen, food production, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and organization of ingredients and supplies for gummy production.
• Support production staff with mixing, pouring, molding, demolding, and other assigned production tasks according to established procedures.
• Measure and handle ingredients accurately, following approved recipes and production instructions.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain kitchen workstations, utensils, molds, tools, and production equipment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist with gummy sorting, counting, weighing, and visual quality checks.
• Help with packaging, labeling, and organizing finished products as directed.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete assigned cleaning and sanitation checklists.
• Monitor ingredient and packaging supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable cannabis regulations.
• Prevent cross-contamination and maintain proper separation of ingredients, batches, and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional production environment.
• Perform other kitchen and production support duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must meet applicable legal age and employment requirements for working in a cannabis production facility.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to maintain consistent cleanliness and organization.
• Willingness to learn food production procedures and follow established safety protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies or materials as required by the position.
• Must comply with applicable facility access, licensing, background-check, and regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, food manufacturing, confectionery production, or packaging is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for most of the shift.
• Repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Bending, reaching, and lifting supplies as needed.
• Working around kitchen equipment, warm production areas, and cleaning materials.
• Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, hairnets, aprons, and other designated protective clothing.

Work Environment

This position operates in a cannabis edible manufacturing facility. Employees are expected to follow strict sanitation, quality control, security, and product-handling procedures. The work environment may include warm kitchen conditions, repetitive production tasks, and time-sensitive production schedules.

Employees must not consume cannabis or arrive at work impaired. All products, ingredients, and production materials must be handled in accordance with company procedures and applicable laws.
