Job Summary

The Kitchen Helper assists cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and other daily kitchen tasks. The role helps ensure the kitchen operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, peeling, cutting, and preparing ingredients.
• Prepare basic food items as instructed by the cook or chef.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas.
• Keep ingredients, supplies, and equipment properly organized.
• Receive, store, and rotate food supplies as needed.
• Dispose of garbage and maintain proper waste-management procedures.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist kitchen staff during busy periods and service.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food-service experience is an advantage but not always required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.

Working Conditions

The Kitchen Helper works in a fast-paced kitchen environment and may be exposed to heat, wet floors, sharp equipment, and prolonged periods of standing. Proper protective equipment and safe work practices must be followed at all times.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
