About the role
Kitchen Helper position at Aysha Bakehouse Cafe. The role involves assisting the chef in food preparation and maintaining kitchen standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist chef in preparing cooking ingredients (cutting vegetables, frying chicken, preparing raw materials, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area, equipment, and storage
- Assist in cooking process and food plating
- Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are adhered to
- Assist with daily kitchen work including washing equipment, stock storage, and menu preparation
- Work according to set shift schedules
- Work overtime when required
About you
- Basic cooking experience required
- Able to work overtime and handle pressure during peak times
- Able to work according to set shift schedules
- Efficient and agile in executing tasks
- Comply with established SOPs
