Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills
• Support meal preparation by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to adhere to food safety standards
• Help with food handling and storage to ensure freshness and prevent contamination
• Support cooking activities as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors
• Assist with serving food during meal service times, ensuring timely delivery to customers or dining areas
• Aid in catering setup and cleanup for special events or large orders
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Experience

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills is advantageous
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus
• Experience in meal or food preparation within the food industry or culinary settings is beneficial
• Previous kitchen experience demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail will be valued
