A Kitchen Helper assists with basic food preparation and ingredient prep, supporting kitchen staff during daily operations while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient prep
- Prepare ingredients according to kitchen instructions and daily requirements
- Assist kitchen staff during daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Wash and properly store kitchen utensils, equipment, and tableware
- Keep ingredients and kitchen supplies properly organized and stored
- Assist with receiving and arranging stock and supplies
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean and properly maintained before and after operations
- Perform other basic kitchen duties assigned by the supervisor
About you
- No experience required; training will be provided
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to work well in a team
- Able to maintain good personal and workplace hygiene
- Willing to assist with different kitchen tasks when required
