Kitchen Helper

Job Summary

The Kitchen Helper is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, meal service, and organizing kitchen supplies and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dishes, utensils, cookware, floors, and workstations.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene, health, and safety procedures, including waste segregation and disposal.
• Support the kitchen team during operations, follow management instructions, and maintain good teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• At least High School Diploma or Vocational Diploma preferred
• Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage but not required
• Experience in cleaning, sanitation, or general utility work preferred
• Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate is an advantage
