JOB DESCRIPTION – KITCHEN HELPER

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Kitchen Helper to assist the Chef and kitchen team with daily food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
• Wash, clean, peel, and cut vegetables and other ingredients.
• Assist in preparing basic kitchen items as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Clean kitchen utensils, vessels, work surfaces, and equipment.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies.
• Keep ingredients and kitchen items properly arranged.
• Help with dishwashing and maintaining a clean kitchen area.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during busy restaurant hours.
• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients responsibly.
• Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or management.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or hotel experience is preferred but freshers can also apply.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Hardworking, punctual, and responsible.
• Willingness to learn cooking and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Salary: Negotiable based on experience and skills.
