JOB DESCRIPTION – KITCHEN HELPER

Position: Kitchen Helper
Department: Kitchen / Food & Beverage
Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 0–2 years preferred; Freshers can apply

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook/Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients.
• Assist in cooking and food preparation as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and work areas.
• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes.
• Store food items and ingredients properly.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and arranging kitchen supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support the kitchen team during busy hours.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of kitchen work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.
• Physically fit and willing to perform kitchen duties.
• Punctual, disciplined, and hardworking.
• Previous hotel, restaurant, catering, or household kitchen experience will be an advantage.
