About the role
Kitchen Assistant role in a central kitchen at Shake Salad, a Singapore food manufacturer. You will support food production operations including food prep, cooking, and packaging in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Help with food prep and production in the central kitchen: washing, cutting, portioning, cooking and packing
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and food safety procedures
- Receive, check and store incoming ingredients and supplies
- Keep work areas, equipment and utensils clean and hygienic
- Help with stock rotation and daily clean-down
- Carry out other kitchen duties assigned by the supervisor
About you
- Able to handle physically active work
- Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen
- Kitchen or F&B experience is a plus
- Reliable, punctual and a good team player
- Able to communicate in basic English or Mandarin
