Kitchen Helper

Job Summary

Seoul Street Cafe is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to support food preparation, kitchen organization, and daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing vegetables, meats, sauces, and other ingredients.
• Wash, cut, portion, and organize food according to kitchen procedures.
• Support cooks with preparation and food assembly during service.
• Keep workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment clean and organized.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-storage procedures.
• Label and store ingredients correctly.
• Restock ingredients and kitchen supplies when needed.
• Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries.
• Help maintain an efficient kitchen during busy periods.
• Perform additional food-preparation and cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes and kitchen instructions.
• Good attention to cleanliness and food quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Food-handler certification is a plus.

Seoul Street Cafe is a Boise Korean street-food and café restaurant located at 624 W Idaho Street. Its menu includes Korean street foods, rice dishes, noodles, Korean fried chicken, boba drinks, and other Asian-inspired specialties. The company is also expanding its presence in the Boise-area market.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31.0 per week
