Duties

• Assist with meal preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients according to recipes and standards
• Support food handling procedures to ensure cleanliness, proper storage, and safety compliance
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, equipment, and work areas throughout shifts
• Help with serving food to customers or staff promptly and courteously when needed
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
• Restock supplies and ingredients as required to keep the kitchen well-equipped for busy service periods
• Support the overall operation of the kitchen by performing basic cooking tasks under supervision

Skills

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
• Familiarity with food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
