Kitchen Helper

Job Summary
La Casa Pizzaria is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to assist with food preparation and daily kitchen operations. The position is suitable for someone who can work efficiently, follow instructions, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing vegetables, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients.
• Support pizza preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Keep food-preparation areas clean and organized.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment when needed.
• Restock ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Help kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Complete general kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred.
• Basic food-preparation knowledge.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Dependable and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Evening and weekend availability preferred.

La Casa Pizzaria is a family-owned Omaha restaurant that has been serving pizza and Italian specialties since 1953. Its original location is at 4432 Leavenworth Street, and the restaurant focuses on pizza, pasta, and other Italian dishes made with family recipes.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31.0 per week
