About SOMARA

SOMARA is a contemporary restrobar in Lucknow offering a distinctive World Cuisine dining experience. We are building a professional kitchen team and are looking for hardworking and responsible Kitchen Helpers to support our chefs in smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
• Wash, clean, peel, cut and prepare vegetables and other ingredients as instructed.
• Support chefs with basic mise-en-place and preparation work.
• Bring ingredients, utensils and equipment to kitchen stations as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen work areas.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, containers and preparation areas.
• Keep ingredients properly arranged, labelled and stored.
• Assist with receiving and organising kitchen supplies.
• Help move stock and ingredients between storage and kitchen areas.
• Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
• Ensure proper disposal of kitchen waste.
• Follow food-safety, personal-hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Keep floors, shelves, workstations and storage areas clean and organised.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours.
• Perform other kitchen-support duties assigned by senior chefs.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper / Kitchen Assistant / Utility Staff in a restaurant, hotel, café or commercial kitchen preferred.
• Freshers willing to learn may also apply.
• Basic understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Hardworking, disciplined and punctual.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Good teamwork and positive attitude.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
