KITCHEN HELPER

Macro Asia (such as Macro Asia SATS Food Industries or Macro Asia Catering Services), a Kitchen Helper assists the culinary team with daily food production, ingredient handling, and strict kitchen sanitation in high-volume airline catering or food manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist cooks and chefs by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables, fruits, and meat ingredients.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cooking equipment, floors, and utensils to meet hygiene standards.
• Dishwashing: Wash pots, pans, trays, and cutlery using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
• Inventory Support: Receive, unpack, and properly store food and non-food supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms.
• Safety Compliance: Follow strict food safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: At least college-level/undergraduate or a high school graduate with relevant basic training.
• Experience: Prior experience working in a commercial kitchen, commissary, or food-service catering environment is preferred.
• Physical Fitness: Strong physical stamina to stand for long hours, do repetitive tasks, and lift heavy kitchen supplies or bulk ingredients.
• Work Ethic: Capable of following precise instructions, working in a fast-paced environment, and cooperating well with a shift-based team
