Kitchen Helper

Job Summary
Chandlers Prime Steaks & Fine Seafood is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to support the culinary team with food preparation, kitchen organization, and daily cleaning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional kitchen and wants to build experience in a fine-dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks with basic food preparation and ingredient setup.
• Wash, peel, cut, portion, and organize ingredients as directed.
• Keep kitchen stations stocked and ready for service.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas throughout each shift.
• Help receive, store, label, and rotate food products.
• Clean kitchen tools, equipment, counters, and preparation areas.
• Assist with dishwashing and other back-of-house tasks when needed.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleanup duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn professional food-preparation practices.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Able to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Able to safely lift and carry kitchen supplies.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
