Job Summary

The Breakfast Klub is seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist kitchen staff with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, organize supplies, and help ensure that food is handled safely and efficiently.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, follows instructions carefully, and works well with a team to provide a positive dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and other kitchen team members with basic food preparation.
• Wash, peel, cut, and portion ingredients as directed.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, counters, and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Store ingredients and supplies in designated areas.
• Help receive and organize deliveries according to established procedures.
• Monitor kitchen supplies and notify supervisors when items need replenishing.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures.
• Help keep floors, storage areas, and kitchen equipment clean and organized.
• Dispose of food waste properly and follow workplace cleaning procedures.
• Assist with preparing the kitchen for service and cleaning up after service.
• Support cooks and other team members during busy breakfast and lunch periods.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen.
• Willingness to learn food preparation and kitchen cleaning procedures.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Dependable attendance and a professional attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen duties.
• Previous kitchen helper, dishwasher, or restaurant experience is preferred but may not be required.
• Availability for early morning, weekend, or holiday shifts may be necessary depending on the schedule.
• Must meet applicable workplace and food-handling requirements.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
