Kitchen Helper

• Prepare and cook food according to company recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
• Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
• Ensure food is prepared consistently in terms of taste, quality, portion, and presentation.
• Follow kitchen procedures, food safety rules, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Keep the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
• Assist with daily kitchen opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparation.
• Check stock levels and assist with receiving, checking, and storing ingredients.
• Label and store ingredients properly and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and follow company guidelines.
• Work with the kitchen and outlet team to prepare orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain proper portion control and minimize food wastage.
• Assist with stock checks and report low-stock, damaged, or expired ingredients to the supervisor.
• Report any food quality issues or customer feedback to the supervisor when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen, café, restaurant, or F&B environment is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with no experience are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
• Basic cooking and food preparation skills are an advantage.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and kitchen procedures.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintains good personal hygiene and follows food safety practices.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform daily kitchen duties.
• Basic communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Own transport is an advantage, depending on the outlet location and work schedule.
