Duties

• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to support meal assembly
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
• Help with food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage and labeling of ingredients
• Support cooking activities under supervision, including basic meal assembly and plating
• Ensure the kitchen area is organized, stocked, and ready for service at all times
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all food handling and preparation processes
• Serve as a team player by supporting other staff members during busy service hours

Experience

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with cooking techniques and meal preparation processes is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is highly valued
• Experience in food industry roles that involve serving or assisting in a kitchen setting will be beneficial
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, safety standards, and kitchen operations

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
