Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards. Duties

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
• Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Help with menu planning and food presentation to enhance the dining experience.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines in handling food products.
• Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required.

Skills

• Ability to clean and fillet fish.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment within the food service industry.
• Familiarity with meal preparation and menu planning is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of food quality.
