Job Summary

Yard House is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, maintain clean and organized work areas, organize supplies, and help ensure that kitchen operations run efficiently while following food safety and sanitation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks.
• Wash, peel, and cut ingredients as directed.
• Clean and sanitize countertops, utensils, and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Organize and store ingredients and supplies in designated areas.
• Replenish kitchen stations and notify supervisors when supplies are running low.
• Remove trash and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Help receive and organize kitchen deliveries when assigned.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen team members during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized.
• Willingness to learn basic kitchen procedures.
• Attention to cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation.
• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen duties.
