Kitchen Helper - Dispatch

Job Summary:

Coordinates and monitors food orders, ensuring accurate preparation, timely dispatch, clear communication with kitchen staff and delivery personnel, and strict adherence to food quality and safety standards

Ensures smooth workflow between the kitchen and delivery or service teams

Tasks and Duties

• Receive, review, and prioritize customer orders from POS or other channels
• Relay orders to appropriate kitchen stations and monitor progress
• Allocate orders to delivery drivers based on availability and proximity
• Maintain clear communication with cooks, delivery riders, and service personnel
• Provide updates to customers on order status and delays
• Act as liaison between kitchen, riders, and customer service team
• Verify order accuracy, ensuring all items, garnishes, and modifications are correct
• Oversee plating and final presentation before dispatch
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues or complaints
• Maintain records of orders, delivery status, and customer interactions
• Ensure dispatch area cleanliness and availability of packaging materials
• Support kitchen performance metrics and administrative tasks
