Responsibilities

• Make sure the orders are fully and correctly prepared and give them to the right customers or the delivery platform.
• Support cooking activities by operating basic kitchen equipment under supervision, ensuring proper usage and maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances to meet sanitation standard
• Support meal presentation and serving processes, ensuring timely delivery of dishes to customers or dining areas
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff through clear communication to ensure efficient workflow and quality service

Skills

• Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety management and handling procedures in the food industry
• Proficiency in menu planning, food preparation, and recipe adherence
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, mixers, and other culinary tools
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and service personnel
• Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Experience in catering or restaurant environments is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food service settings
• Skilled in knife techniques, slicing methods, and general culinary practices to ensure precision and safety during food prep
