KITCHEN HELPER – COMMISSARY

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Kitchen Helper is responsible for supporting daily commissary kitchen operations, including food preparation, cleaning, sanitation, proper food storage, and assisting kitchen staff. The employee must strictly follow company policies, food safety standards, sanitation procedures, SOPs, and instructions from Management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with food preparation, washing, cutting, and portioning of ingredients.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff during daily operations.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
• Properly handle, store, label, and organize food supplies.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean work environment.
• Report damaged equipment, food safety concerns, shortages, or other issues immediately.
• Follow all company policies, SOPs, and instructions from Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• With 1-3 year of kitchen or commissary experience.
• Physically fit and capable of performing kitchen duties.
• Hardworking, reliable, punctual, and disciplined.
• Able to follow instructions, company policies, and SOPs strictly.
• Knowledgeable in proper food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a professional and positive attitude.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned by Management.
