Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients to support chefs and cooks
• Help with cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
• Support food handling procedures by following proper storage, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Serve food to customers or staff in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring excellent food service experience
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing
• Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold high standards within the kitchen environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices and basic meal preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
• Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, food presentation, and customer service
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Basic understanding of food industry standards and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
