Kitchen Helper/Cook

The Kitchen Helper is primarily responsible for food preparation and cooking, while maintaining proper kitchen organization, inventory control, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to company standards and procedures
• Ensure proper food quality, portioning, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Monitor and assist in inventory and stock management
• Properly store and organize food supplies and ingredients
• Monitor food usage and help minimize wastage
• Follow strict sanitation, hygiene, and food safety procedures
• Coordinate with the Food Attendant and other kitchen staff
• Assist in maintaining smooth and efficient kitchen operations
• Report inventory, equipment, or operational concerns to the supervisor
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of kitchen/food preparation experience
• Knowledgeable in basic cooking and food preparation
• Has basic knowledge of inventory and stock monitoring
• Can properly organize and maintain a kitchen workspace
• Can strictly follow sanitation, hygiene, and food safety procedures
• Can collaborate and communicate effectively with the team
• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Amenable to work in Biñan City, Laguna
